Robert Pattinson is headed to Cosmopolis. The big screen adaptation of the 2003Don DeLillo novel has found a director in David Cronenberg and it’s lead actor: Pattinson.
The Twilight actor will be Eric Packer, a Manhattan financial manager who starts out one morning in April wealthy, married and headed downtown for a haircut but ends up being followed by assassins and in financial ruins by the end of that same day.
Filming is set to begin in late spring of 2011.
Pattinson is currently finishing The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in New Orleans.
